Ashton Kutcher to Play Jobs…

The biopic for the late founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, is to start filming soon. The indie film will be entitled “Jobs”, and guess who has been casted to play the late business tycoon. None other than the “Kutch.”
He just keeps getting richer and richer.

Should be interesting to see…

Catwalk Talk- DMS TV

Get ready for our new show which premieres on DMS TV this spring, “Catwalk Talk.” The first show of the season will be aired on DatsMaStyle’s YouTube channel, DATSMASTYLEMAG, on April 28, 2012. The first episode will feature Ano Okera, a fashion stylist and entrepreneur based in NYC. Watch as we go around the city with this budding stylist and get all the ins and outs of putting together a killer photoshoot.

Outcry for Trayvon!!!

The killing of the Florida teenager, Trayvon Martin has been on everyone’s lips for the past week. The impact that this case has had on the public is huge. From Main Street to every street, touching the inner most part of people’s emotions. The argument of race has been the central topic of this discussion and uproar, and it is so sad that in this day and age we have to be going back to this centuries old argument again and again. 

We don’t fully understand the details of the incident which happened a month ago, but we know that the reality of the situation can’t help but strike us in the face. Time and time again we reach the boiling point that makes us reminiscent of the Civil Rights days, and it is really disheartening to know that in the 21st century, decades after Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X and others fought for our civil liberties we have to revisit these situations repeatedly, because of stereotypes, profiling, judgements and emotions.

We need to come together as one, no matter what race, social standing, socioeconomic background, religious background, we are all human. 

WE NEED TO WAKE UP AND STOP THIS BS…WE LIVE IN 2012…LET RACE BE A THING OF THE PAST…WE ARE ALL ONE PEOPLE…

The Hunger Was a Big One

“Hunger Games” hit the big screens this weekend and the opening day was a big one for the well anticipated film. The movie grossed $68.3 million on its opening night, putting it among the big guns such as “Twilight” and the “Harry Potter” series ( so you can just imagine what the entire opening weekend will bring in). Jennifer Lawrence really knows how to put on a good performance, and that is what i think makes the movie interesting, it is unreal but not so unreal, fantasy but not so much fantasy, making it a bit more easy to relate to. 

On Monday we will give you the final figures that the “Hunger Games” racked up over the weekend
